Harker House Wine & Spirits opened July 2016 in the hamlet of Clinton Corners, New York. Harker House is compact, focused and well-stocked with hundreds of wines, ciders and spirits.
We have wines around the world with offerings from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Germany, as well as, domestic bottles from New York, California and Oregon. Harker House focuses on small producers making thoughtful, well-priced wine. Over half our wines are certified-organic, biodynamic or sustainably-farmed.
Uniquely, Harker House exclusively carries New York State Spirits. There are over 100 craft distilleries in New York. The distillery boom includes dozens of new operations in the Hudson Valley that support local farms The spirit categories carried by Harker House Wine & Spirits including vodka, gin, rum, bourbon, rye & single malt whiskeys.
The shop owner, Hal Newell, was a Professional Geologist for 20 years. As preparation for opening the store, Hal spent years studying and tasting wines. Hal has visited vineyards & met with winemakers in the classic regions of Bordeaux, Rhone, Piedmonte and Napa Valley, as well as, ancient wine regions like Croatia and Sicily.

HARKER HOUSE WINE & SPIPIRITS is located in Clinton Corners, Dutchess County, NY. Only a 1/2-mile from the Taconic State Parkway.
Exit the Taconic at NY-115/Salt Point Turnpike, then drive east past the Stewart's Shop convenience store.
Our Parking Area is located in the rear of the store off Clinton Corners Road.
